Jani Sever

Poet, director, producer and scriptwriter Jani Sever (1963) has a university degree in history. He started out as a drummer in punk rock bands. From the end of the 1980s, he worked as a journalist and was the editor of the Mladina weekly for a full decade. He started the first Slovenian online media channel at the same time that YouTube was just being established. As a producer, he not only shoots made-for-television detective stories but is also the driving force behind very distinctive documentaries of the currently incoming generation.
