I'm a video artist/experimental filmmaker busy with more-than-human perspectives on the edge of documentary, geoanthropology & posthuman/newmaterialist visions. I'm currently looking for production support for my film "muddy waters" which tells the story of Opolno Zdrój - a village at the edge of open-pit coal mine meeting Poland, Czechia & Germany. Diving into the sanatory story of the village and its mud baths/health waters, I wish to create an experimental story from the persective of soil, water & their movements that question the fixed borderlands and expose both human extractivism & fantasies of regeneration/alternative futures for the difficult region. The flow of history through more-than-human bodies and chemicals is a human story no less, and toxic embodiments are our reality.
