Pavel is a Prague-based development specialist, social anthropologist and documentary filmmaker active at the intersection of arts, sciences and climate justice. In 2020, he finished "Living Water" film on the unfolding water crisis in Jordan. His first feature film won several awards and travelled to Ji.hlava, Visions du Réel, CPH:DOX, Movies that Matter, Manifesta, DokuFest, Seminci and many others. Pavel is a Berlinale Talents 2022 Alumnus. Currently, he is developing a new feature film project on NEOM The Line, the first linear car-free cognitive city to be built in Saudi Arabia.
