Podcast series Beauty: why are we never enough?

Beauty is the first original audio documentary by journalist and presenter Linda Bartošová. In the seven-part series, she brings personal confessions of both famous and unknown women who define themselves against conventional stereotypes of beauty and, together with experts, she adds social and historical context. Topics covered in the podcast series Beauty include competition and rivalry in female beauty, pretty privilege, health issues impacting appearance and mental health, the sexualisation of women in pop culture, appearance changes associated with aging, and feminist perspectives on female beauty. The series launches on Radio Wave from 1 November 2022.
