Anja Salomonowitz

Anja Salomonowitz (1976) studied film editing and directing in Vienna and Berlin. Her award-winning films, which have been screened at a number of festivals, both explore and cross the line between edgy and documentary filmmaking. In 2015, she presented her hybrid creative approach at Ex Oriente Film at the Ji.hlava Festival. She has also competed at the festival with her 2013 film, 727 Days Without Karam, and her 2006 film, It happened just before.
