Borys Shylenko

Ukrainian filmmaker Borys Shylenko (1938–2014) worked in the studio of Alexander Dovzhenko, first as a technical assistant and later as a director and cinematographer. Shylenkov’s historical films are among his most notable: There is Still Time (1987) and The Black Valley (1990) – stories of the Cossacks.
