Miroslav Buriánek

Roman Štětina (1986) is a leading representative of contemporary Czech video art. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague and is Jindřich Chalupecký Award laureate. Štětina is one of the few Czech artists to work with sound, with a special focus on radio. In his installations, he uses video, objects, and sound to show how sensory experience may confuse our impression of how we really see things.
