synopsis

FilmDESERTS looks at the Tuareg, whose struggles with the armies of the Saharan countries through which they migrate are robbing them of their original culture and traditional way of life. As a result, the once open Sahara has become a prison for them. The film does more than merely look at the life of this Berber tribe, but also captures individual stories in order to create a collective memory.
