synopsis

Inspired by the stories of three protagonists involved in the misogynistic incel subculture, this short hybrid film presents the manifestations and sources of patriarchal extremism, which is increasingly escaping from virtual space into the real world.

biography

Guillym Davenport is originally from New Zealand, but currently works as a writer and director in Australia, where he also studied documentary filmmaking at the University of Melbourne. He focuses on hybrid genres between documentary and fiction, and in addition to film, he also works in theatre.
