How Would You Like to Migrate

director: Fatih Bilgin
original title: How Would You Like to Migrate
country: Türkiye
year: 2013
running time: 3 min.

synopsis

A black-and-white movie by a Turkish sociologist looks at the most convenient and comfortable forms of migration. What kind of people migrate via hotels, planes, and luxury automobiles? The 1960s advertising aesthetic clashes with today’s “migration crisis.” The words “travel” and “migration” are consciously used interchangeably.
