biography
Canadian documentary filmmaker Philip Hoffman is known for his diary-like films and distinctive directing method emphasizing the questions of human memory and temporality. He teaches at Toronto’s York University and is the founder of the Film Farm, an educational center and refuge for experimental filmmakers. The Jihlava IDFF has previously shown his films Aged (2014) and All Fall Down (2009). The films of Canadian artist Eva Kolcze explore the subjects of the landscape, architecture and the body through physical matter and celluloid. Her films have been shown at numerous international festivals.more about film
