Paolo’s sex life began at the age of 14 in the men’s room. Since then, his life has been divided into a world of light and shadow. His sexual awakening is also a political manifesto. Only in gay nightclubs can he be free. It’s a world of imaginary lovers, dancers in the dark, who don’t exist in the daytime for society.biography
Paolo Villaluna (* 1977) is a member of the Philippine New Wave. His award-winning short film debut Palugid (2001) also ranks him among the representatives of queer cinema.
