synopsis

A problematic, underachieving Czech class is taken over by new teachers who have the ambition and desire to change the situation. For one semester, we follow the emotion-filled story, told from the point of view of both the students and the teachers. Will the students and their new teachers succeed? How will the confrontation between the new teachers and the existing teachers pan out? Czech Television presents an innovative format based on the hugely successful Swedish docu-reality show that should open up public debate on the topic of student motivation and the quality of education at the upper primary level.
