synopsis

On one hand, Event I is an audio-visual tool programmed using the Pure Data language, and on the other hand, it’s a live performance during which an attempt will be made to recast noise into a structured form. More than a game, it’s a competition with an instrument that constantly challenges the artist with new impulses and challenges to “tame” it. The instrument is the ma/essage.

Not suitable for pregnant women or those with epilepsy.

biography

Michal Cáb is a conceptual artist, performer, musician and teacher. His projects include a sound installation at NTK (2010) and the performance Experiencing Something Indescribable Rarely Happens (2011).
