RITA BALOGH is a producer, a documentary filmmaker and the founder of Budapest International Documentary Festival – the highest-ranked platform in Hungary for discussions around critically acclaimed documentaries from across the world, an international competition festival with over 20 000 viewers at its last edition, established in 2014 (www.bidf.hu). As a producer, she is dedicated to the production and promotion of truly international films. Her recent title, documentary-satire Whose Dog Am I? directed by Robert Lakatos will have its international debut in the competition of Warsaw International Film Festival, 2022. As a filmmaker, her focus is building bridges within societies, by carefully observing and understanding groups hidden from the public attention.
