Karlis Bergs is a Latvian born filmmaker based in New York, USA. Bergs is a recipient of the Creatives Rebuild New York 2022 grant and the prestigious Allan Sekula Social Documentary grant in 2020. He received an MFA in Photography & Media at California Institute of the Arts in 2020. His short documentary film "The Threshold" (2020) premiered in Riga IFF and Tacoma Film Festival.
