Boram Soh is an artist, and researcher who notices the margins of daily life, subculture, and life at the borderlands. Soh engages in research that connects the abstractness of dominant power structures with general terms like city, place, or the earth. She works on the personal relationship with a water deer in the capitalist system as well as between ancient artists and deer in cave arts, rewriting Jorges Luis Borges’ Blue tigers (1977). Soh was a participant at Labecque artist residency, CH(2022), the Jan van Eyck academie, NL (2020-2021), and was granted a fellowship from Arts council Korea (2020-2021). Soh holds a DNSAP from École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-arts de Paris with jury honors and a BA from Korea National University of arts.
