goEast – Festival of Central and Eastern European Film is situated in Germany and functions as an agent for change and as cultural multiplicator. Amongst others the festival is a platform for networking, exchange and further education. Documentary films are annually shown in the main competition of goEast and have been shown in various other sections time and again. Furthermore, with the East-West Talent Lab, goEast provides participants with the possibility of a first informal exchange with industry players and the opportunity to present their project ideas and find co-production partners.
