Varan Vietnam is a group of independent documentary filmmakers who focus on direct cinema style. Today the group is conscious of having been a part of a unique film adventure where three poles – North (Hanoï), South (Ho Chi Minh City) and Centre (Da Nang) – bonded, creating a network that revolves around a common idea of documentary cinema.
