Simone Rosset is an italian director and visual artist, he graduated from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, animation department. In his language he intersects the codes of documentary cinema with experimental animation, often working from sound and music material collected during field research. His poetic research combines scientific studies and mitopoiesis in search of the possible points of contact and trespassing between real and imaginary. His works have been screened at the Torino Film Festival, Rabat international author film festival, Nefiltravanae kino, among other festivals, and at Lincoln performing art center (UK) and Macba (Museum of contemporary art of Barcelona) during the Mecal Barcelona Film festival.
