Anki

Anki is a Prague-based rapper with Vietnamese roots who captures themes of identity, the periphery, and personal transformation in his lyrics with both sensitivity and raw honesty. His work is an authentic testament to finding one's place between cultures and social classes. Motifs of poverty, marginalization, shifting life circumstances, and identity meet a need for self-expression free of boastful posturing. His 2024 album I WANT TO FEEL SAVE earned him Album of the Year at both the Vinyla and Apollo Music Awards, as well as a nomination for the Czech Music Academy's Anděl Award.
