Monika Šubrtová

Monika Šubrtová, a Slovak producer based in London, uses sound synthesis and sampling in her electronic music and draws on a wide range of influences from avant-garde to club beats. Less than a year ago she presented her solo album TOON, which she is bringing live to Ji.hlava. In the transformation, she builds on her earlier work with the Urbsounds collective and in the duo Jamka.
