Enthusiasm Won’t Pay the Rent – A manifesto of cultural journalists

Writing about culture is increasingly becoming a luxury that not everyone can afford. Especially if you want to live and work with dignity and sustainability. Culture is a superfluous topic not only in the Czech media world, and as long as it is viewed through its ability to generate profit, it’s unlikely to change. What is the future of cultural journalism? Under what conditions do cultural journalists work and what exactly is their platform aiming for? And why is it necessary to talk about legal arrangements such as the status of cultural workers and the status of the artist?
