They’re Not That Kind of Riders
If you're a photographer and filmmaker by conviction, you usually end up dragging your photo and film gear absolutely everywhere. And so it happened that, in addition to caves, diving, high-altitude climbing, and scientific laboratories, I started shooting photos while cycling. While riding, from every imaginable angle.
Add to that the fact that my friends and I usually set out on bikes to places where bikes really have no business being, and you’ve got the perfect recipe for some truly insane adventures. We pedaled across a frozen lake north of the Arctic Circle, rode down the slopes of the Faroe Islands, followed the Elbe River from its source to the sea, and even dropped by the Pope's for a coffee.
So, this won’t just be a story for cyclists, but for anyone who enjoys the world out there beyond the front door. And also for fans of low-quality, post-pubescent cringe humor, hot-tempered interjections, awkwardly used participles, desperate exclamations, and colorful photos. You won’t be bored. Though you might be embarrassed on my behalf.
