We're Dissolving Away From Each Other in a Single Stream – Inner world about water and songs

Singer-songwriter Jana Vébrová will talk about her own experience with water in ten images. She has lived in a water mill for seventeen years and indicates her relationship to water with these words: "I have perceived this element and experienced everyday activities and natural events connected with it. Wading, swimming, blending, diving, watching the river change through the seasons, skipping stones, lying in the algea, and introducing our three daughters to all of this since they were born and grew up with the river. Our favourite, almost archaeological activity was fishing for rocks and water-smoothed and eroded shards from the bottom. Metaphorically, this ritual can be transferred to personal self-reflection. Just as we reach to the bottom of the river, we can also reach to the bottom of our souls and pick up a shard, a pebble, a rock, bring it to the surface, read its story, which can sometimes be happy and sometimes sad. Ideally, you then place it peacefully beside you or throw it back into the river. Send it downstream, let it settle back to the bottom, but never to the same place again."
