Sirény LIVE: On Queer Love in the Roma Context

What is life like for queer Roma men and women in a society that rejects them twofold – once because of their origin and again for their sexuality? The live recording of the Sirény (Sirens) podcast will explore the topics of identity, love, and acceptance in an environment where the boundaries of visibility are still narrow. The hosts, known for their sensitive, open, and relaxed approach to social taboos, will welcome David Tišer, a queer Romani activist and founder of the organization ARA ART. Together, they’ll explore how the concept of community and belonging is changing for people who stand at the intersection of several minorities – and why their experience is important for anyone who wants to understand what it means to be seen.
