Zkoumání Kláry Pudlákové: Pudlax & Toša

The intense presence of Klára Pudláková, author and double bass player, on the contemporary jazz, improvisation, and experimental scene led MFDF Ji.hlava to issue a challenge: that Klára, who is active in a whole range of projects of various kinds, should bring at least some of them together in a single performance—and there are quite a few of them. So this time, we are leaving aside the Maomah string quartet, international collaborations, and the singer-songwriter duo Avokaduo. Klára Pudláková brings to the festival the energetic post-everything trio Pudlax (KP, Jan Pudlák - keyboards, Jakub Švejnar - drums) and the duo Toša, where saxophonist Michal Wróblewski plays alongside Klára. We present the double concert in the early evening experimental program series.
