Jerzy Skolimovski

Jerzy Skolimowski (1938) is a director, actor, screenwriter, and painter and formerly a boxer and drummer when he was young. In 1963, he completed his directorial studies in Lodz before emigrating in the 1970s. He has made over two dozen feature films and won several prestigious film awards.
