Mykhailo lIenko

Director, screenwriter, cameraman and actor Mykhail Illienko (b. 1947) mainly shoots feature films that often reflect the modern history of Ukraine, the Second World War or communistic totalitarianism. The film, Fuchzhou (1994), loosely follows the Ukrainian poetic tradition and is one of many key works for folklore film.
