Rei Hayama

For Japanese artist Rei Hayama (1987), film is a tool for finding harmony between man and the world around us. A graduate of Tokyo’s Tama Art University, she creates videos in which she uses symbols from nature and her own music to compare the perception of nature by humans and by animals. Her works have been exhibited in Tokyo and at New York’s Museum of the Moving Image and have been shown at festivals.
