Volodymyr Khmelytskyi

Director, screenwriter and cinematographer Volodymyr Khmelnitsky (b. 1953) worked in Kiev's Studio of Popular Science Films. He concluded his long-term exploration of the relationship between man and nature - e.g. in the documentary series People and Dolphins (1983) - by unusually adapting the absurd short story by Georgie Vladimir, Faithful Ruslan (1992 ).
