synopsis

This traditional narrative documentary about Thor Heyerdahl’s expedition to Easter Island tells about the scientific research team’s work and their interaction with the indigenous inhabitants. This optimistically composed image of the expedition’s community in a remote part of the world introduces the team members to the audience and shows even their free time and leisure activities.
