albus

synopsis
How whiteness grows: “Albus” is Latin for white. A close study of subtle shifts in structures of ice – forming floes, frost crusts and clusters of foam – springs forth on the verge of abstraction, as do the hushed murmurings and rustlings that reveal the sounds of ice.“Icy surfaces drift into shifting textures, forming a subtle rhythm that transforms silent natural movement into a painterly composition.” — Youjin Moon
