synopsis
A short experimental film from the gaming environment. The tracker reaches a place that has been altered by human activity. The surrounding landscape resembles cold Nordic scenery, it's foggy and there’s no sign of anyone around. The night slowly turns into a dreamlike expedition into the depths of the cave. Here and in other works, the author is fascinated by conscious contact with the environment, the mystique of the brownfield, and the rediscovery of our relationship with the places around us.

biography
Martin Dušek was born in 1996. He received his bachelor’s degree from the Department of Photography at the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts (FAMU) in Prague and is currently studying audiovisual studies there. He experiments with media; he is mainly concerned with relationships to landscape. In 2020, he had his first film screening at the Marienbad Festival with his short film
Something Above Us, about the fate of a forest farm. artin Dušek is not the son of the director or actor.
