synopsis
It is hard to imagine a life more different than the one in the Brazilian Entre Rios and Chinese Shanghai. However, they do have something in common: they are both boarder towns connected through the middle of the earth. This geographical polarisation best represents cultural differences and lifestyle. Director Viktor Kossakovsky compared other countries through this reverse perspective having these images profile as antipodes to the audience.
