synopsis
A humorous conceptual game based on a simple idea – filming amateur swimmers as they get ready to jump from a 10-meter platform. The short scenes are a mixture of slapstick, miniature psychological portraits, and aesthetic studies of physical and verbal expressions and courage.
biography
Axel Danielson (Sweden, 1976) and Maximilien Van Aertryck (France, 1989) have worked together since 2013. Also collaborating with them at Platform Produktion in Göteborg is Ruben Östlund. Ten Meter Tower was shown in the short film section at the Berlinale.
