Emerging Gods
Veronika Dostálová / Czech Republic / 2018 / World Premiere / 4 min.
synopsis
Gods and angels are manifestations of life, much like humans, animals, or microorganisms. Although they have no physical form of their own, they arise from biological structures and reflect the fundamental principles of nature. Emerging Gods explores the moment when an unrecognised god emerges from the darkness of the unconscious into human awareness. Two entities thus come to inhabit a single body. The filmmaker finds visual parallels between emerging archetypes and biological forms—such as birds’ wings—creating an audiovisual tribute to the forces that inhabit both our minds and the physical world.biography
