synopsis
From the organic to the mechanical, from the quivering and suspended to the pulsing and accelerating - fragments of surfaces, textures, and rhythms of the visible world in black and white detail captured with a 16mm camera appear in dialogue with the changing pace of gradual transformation.
biography
George Săbău (1937) is a professor of aesthetics, a media theorist, and creator of experimental films, video art, and digital art. In 1970 he founded the Atelier 16 film club in Arad, which later became the experimental film collective known as kinema ikon. more about film
