synopsis
One day at the legendary Küpeli baths in Diyarbakır. Half-naked men and boys enjoy a sunny day hidden behind a brick wall. The bath was slated for demolition, but still stands. A silent observation of one day at a forgotten bath when you will not encounter a single woman.
biography
Çetin Baskın (1983) was born in Diyarbakıru. He studied biology at Dicle University and later received a master’s degree from the Department of Film and Television at Bilgi University. He debuted with the short film Gerayîş (2011). Metin Akdemir (1984) attended film school in Istanbul. He works in the film industry and also directs commercials. In addition to working for television, he is also studying gender studies in Istanbul.
