synopsis
A documentary collage consisting of images of fields and housing estates, young people having fun, or a university setting and staged scenes filled with humour and hyperbole, accompanied by a voiceover recalling propagandistic socio-critical documentaries. Though banned in the Soviet Union, the film screened at several foreign festivals.biography
Arcadii Faustov (1936–2009) never formally studied filmmaking, but worked as a director, cinematographer and screenwriter. A graduate of the Power Engineering Institute, from 1965 he led the Film Studio at the Kharkov Polytechnic Institute, where he taught aspiring filmmakers.film details
