synopsis
The protagonist of this fictional documentary is the screenwriter Bart, who is writing the script for the film The Sea That Thinks. He types what he does and does what he types. Trapped between reality and illusion, he tries to answer the question of how to find happiness. The film is full of twists and changes, new perspectives, technical transpositions and optical illusions.
biography
Dutch film theoretician and cinematographer Gert de Graaff (1957) graduated in direction, camera and editing from the Dutch Film & Television Academy. He currently teaches the grammar of film language and editing around the world.
