synopsis
Monika, Marie, and Lenka have all been diagnosed with mental disorders. Nevertheless, they are not very different from those who are “normal”. A static observational camera provides the protagonists with maximum space for their daily conversations and the micro-dramas that are played out during the summer on the several square-foot meters of an apartment balcony in Žatec.
biography
Producer, director, and scriptwriter Eva Lammelová (1986) has been working on documentaries for Czech Television for several years. For the program series Don’t Give Up, she made the film Free Food for Everyone about food waste (2015, Jihlava IDFF 2015).
