Jérémie Danon / France / 2026 / World Premiere / 17 min.
synopsis
Naomi is a 23-year-old Frenchwoman of Senegalese descent. Her parents converted to Islam, and she is now converting to Judaism. This combination of personal testimony and art installation places the young woman in positions from which she explores various aspects of her identity and seeks to understand the meaning of community and the essence of religious faith.“The resulting forms are not simply documentation, but the transposition, even the sublimation, of a shared experience.” — Le Fresnoy Studio national des arts contemporains
