Don´t Breathe
Nino Kirtadze / France / 2014 / European Premiere / 86 min.
synopsis
The direction of Levan’s life changed with just one doctor’s exam. What appeared at first to be a temporary situation caused by his surroundings and his own anxiety quickly changed into the realization that his life was falling apart in his hands. The filmmaker follows in Levan’s footsteps and with a detached observational form guides us through the carousel of absurd situations and personal and professional problems which the main protagonist finds himself more and more deeply bogged down in. The result is a grotesque, tragi-comedic tale about an originally phlegmatic man who is attempting to deal with the uncertainties in his life and find himself in the Georgian metropolis.DETAIL:
I’m very calm, serene. I rarely lose my temper. But everybody fights with me. Why? I just don’t understand.
