synopsis
Everyday life multiplies and blurs in layers of images that, in a frantic montage, forget what came before them. An excess of sensations floods the cramped apartment inhabited by Marilli, who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. Hand-processed 16mm film, accompanied by a delicate soundscape of everyday fragments, lets the past flicker through in places where the present moment loses its contours.“Thanks to my photography background, I can […] challenge the limits of a moving image and re-evaluate cinematic conventions.” — Dominika Kováčová
