synopsis
FilmBLINDNESS presents the landscape of the Danish island of Fuur: depopulating rural areas as well as traces of the inhabitants’ genetic predisposition for colorblindness. With its hypersensitivity to light and reduced focus, the film is remarkable for its visual nature resulting from the tension between the concreteness of reality and the uncertainty involved in its depiction.
