Petr Skala: Experimental films

Petr Skala, distinguished Czech experimental filmmaker, documentarist and one of the pioneers of the Czech videoart. At the end of 1960s he applicated abstract, gestic painting on film material. In this period he made films especially by application of artistic techniques to already exposed film: chemical procedures, engraving, scratching, burning holes, drawing and painting. Petr Skala, together with his family, is this year´s jury of the section Fascinations.
