synopsis
FilmANIMALS, which looks at the life of pigs, acts as a metaphor for human behavior between reason and emotion, materialism and idealism. The film, which shows long takes of living meat intended for human consumption, reminds us of Winston Churchill’s words that pigs see us as equals, but also Rilke’s plea that we should learn to see the world through the eyes of animals.
