Twilight Zon9
Mi-sen Wu / Taiwan / 2005 / Czech Premiere / 56 min.
synopsis
A conversation between a graduate and his former abusive teacher becomes an engrossing reflection on student disciplination. Allegations from students and teachers reveal deeply rooted practices of bullying and sometimes even brutal corporal punishment, rethink forms and methods of control, and show the helplessness of students and long-term consequences of this pedagogical approach.
