bread dumplings and visual quality - sickness, apartment and footage - the cameraman is a machinist Originally, Tomáš Heřmánek shot an interview with director František Vláčil (1924-1999) while researching his film portrait. Gradually, he started taking care of the ill director and the project was sidetracked. Hejtmánek only returned to his work after Vláčil's death abandoning the film about the director and launching into a film inspired by his personality and the poetry of his works. Actor Jiří Kodet agreed to cooperate as impersonator of an old filmmaker speaking about the principles of film making. The screenplay was based on authentic sound recordings.
